Tupac Shakur's Brother Talks Madonna

"Madonna is the homie. He used to take 2Pac to Madonna's place. Their relationship wasn't serious, but Madonna and 2Pac respected each other and that's why they never actually talked about it in public (until Madonna herself confirmed they were dating in an interview to Howard Stern in March 2015)".

Madonna revealed during Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday that she dated late rapper, Tupac Shakur.
The revelation came out when Madonna was sharing with Stern why she had so much aggression during her 1994 appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman. “Well I was mad at him [David Letterman], when I said the F-word a lot. I was in a weird mood that day. I was dating Tupac Shakur at the time and the thing is he got me all riled up on life in general. So when I went on the show I was feeling very gangster.”

In an unauthorized 2007 biography called Madonna: Like an Icon, it was written that the duo romantically dated one year before Shakur’s death, but apparently it was never verbally confirmed … Until now.

2Pac was shot on Sept. 7, 1996, in Las Vegas following the Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Seldon boxing match. He died six days later.

His tweet has since been deleted.

Madonna's star-studded "Bitch I'm Madonna" video sure got the internet all internet-y when it dropped on Wednesday. You didn't think it was all over, did you? On Thursday (June 18), Diplo, the song's co-writer and co-producer (who also appeared in the shoot), took to Twitter with his own #hottake.
"I'm confused that Madonna not allowed to be sexy but Caitlyn Jenner is?" he wrote. Shortly after, he deleted the tweet. He's likely referring to the incessant ageism (and sexism) that follows the 56-year old singer, telling her she's not allowed to present herself in certain ways. Caitlyn Jenner, 65, is also part of the older crowd, but aside from that, why pull her into this?

The Tonight Show

Madonna admitted to being something of a "closet comedian" during her Thursday appearance on The Tonight Show, so Jimmy Fallon magnanimously offered to give her some time to work out her material. "Will you guys laugh if my jokes suck?" Madonna asks before Fallon introduces her as an "up-and-coming comedian making her stand-up comedy debut." The 56-year-old Material Girl hit on some very Madonna-esque talking points during her time, including dating younger men, her artwork and ... dating younger men. If anything, it's kind of adorable to see Madonna looking slightly flustered and not totally in control of a given situation.  Besides, even if this doesn't go down as one comedy's legendary stand-up debuts, we'll always have this amazing version of "Holiday."

Vogue's 25th Anniversary

It's hard to believe it, but Madonna's seminal smash, "Vogue," was released 25 years ago this month.
Jose Xtravaganza and Salim "Slam" Gauwloos, two dancers who appeared in the iconic "Vogue" video and subsequently toured with Madonna, reunited in Los Angeles to re-create the famed choreography in this short video honouring the anniversary -- and the results are pretty amazing.
Jose Xtravaganza and fellow dancer Luis Camacho Xtravaganza are often credited with introducing Madonna to the Harlem House Ball community which, in turn, inspired her to write the song and feature the dance style in her music videos and tours.

'Rebel Heart' Tops The Weekly Sales Chart!

Last week, following a couple of full length leaks, Madonna dropped her 13th studio album, “Rebel Heart.” The album came preceded but “Living For Love,” a single that did OK on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Also released last week was the soundtrack for FOX’s hit new drama series, Empire. The soundtrack featured 18 songs, a few of which had already debuted in Top 100 on iTunes (US).

With the success of Empire and Madonna’s time as an entertainer in the music industry, it was unclear, at least until now, who would land atop the weekly sales chart.

The numbers are in and after a very hectic race, Empire pulls off a solid not-so-surprising win.  Tallying both the number of pure album sales and cumulative streams, Empire takes the No. 1 spot, racking up 128,640 (107,140 pure album sales), as HDD reports.
Madonna is next, coming in at No. 2 with 121,972 (sales + streams). If streams weren’t counted, Madonna would have scored the No. 1 spot, as her album sold 116,472, as opposed to Empire‘s 107,140.
