Report: Madonna to play Super Bowl XLVI halftime show?

It’s a good thing no NFL team has hydrangeas as a mascot.
The sports website SB Nation is reporting that Madonna will take to the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to perform during the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show.
The NFL is not commenting, and when reached by EW, Madonna’s rep says there’s “nothing to confirm at this point” — which is about as soft a “no comment” as one gets.
So is it possible? Last month, Ms. Ciccone told reporters while promoting her film W.E. that she’s been recording a new album with producers William Orbit (who helmed her 1998 album Ray of Light) and French DJ Martin Solveig (of the inescapable “Hello”).

HUGE! Madonna Reported To Perform At The Super Bowl Halftime Show!!!

Can't … breathe!!!!
If what we're hearing is correct, we might have to throw our first ever Super Bowl party this year because - brace yourselves - Madonna is going to be headlining the halftime show!!!!!
This would be a first for her and a first for us all as she'll most likely be performing a new single off the new album coming out next year!!!! Can't get any bigger or better promotion than that! Smart!!!!
Biggest news of the year!!! We're so excited, our exclamation button is going to order a restraining order!!!!!

Madonna & SMAP!

December 12, 2005
As you all know, Madonna spent last week in Japan connecting with her Japanese fans for the first time in 12 years. Madonna performed the song HUNG UP at the SMAP v SMAP show, which will air on December 19th. After wards, Madonna did an interview which was interupted by a man on a horse who wanted to audition for her next video! He did a little dance sample to like a virgin, Vogue, and Hung Up. He knew all the steps to Hung Up. Enjoy this exclusive picture from backstage!

I'll Remember...2001

Grammy Awards

Was anyone else disappointed by this performance of 'Music' at the 2001 Grammy Awards?

I expected this opening number to have killer choreography as this was the song of 2000.  The entrance and the closing of the performance were cool, but everything in between was a bit lackluster for me.   Anyhow, it was great to see a glimpse of her 'What it Feels Like for a Girl' video and the montage of her previous videos fit the song perfectly.  I guess I was expecting something like the 'Nothing Really Matters' performance two years earlier.  Now that was art!  None the less, Madonna looked sexy as ever with her new bob haircut and her sexy, post-pregnancy body.  It was also great to see Donna and Nickie by her side again.
