Madonna…what is your least favorite sound?

JK! Although we are about to go slightly James Lipton on your asses.

During the making of MDNA, Madge and old chum William Orbit were in their own creative pocket of a world, where the only outside influence were french films circa 1960’s, and, strangely…Kreayshawn?

Orbit says about their process:

"We never played tracks by everybody else, all the current artists. It's a dangerous road to go down…We liked what we're doing in this current time and space. What we tended to do was watch old French films from the '60s or listen to music that was so far away that it wasn't, in any way, relevant."

They did listen to ONE contemporary musician, the stoner-rapping-scenester
 american version of Lady Sovereign
: Kreayshawn

Orbit talks about their fondness for the teensy rapster:

"I did remember…we were just looking at links on YouTube, and I was showing her Kreayshawn, and I've been working with her, and I really like her. And she's obviously got this track out called Hoes on My Di– [with the line] ’cause I look like Madonna.' And, I played it for Madonna … then she was saying afterwards 'Hoes on my di–, ’cause I am Madonna.' That was about the only time we looked at any serious contemporary pop music."

LOLz.

According to Orbit, Madge is unafraid to call herself Queen Bi*** and doesn't really give a shiz as to what anyone else will think of MDNA.

All in all, the duo claim to be VERY happy with the way the record turned out, especially as it was fueled by creative juices and FUN with a capital FU.

Lola's Dad Dating Kelly Bensimon?

Friends of ex-Real Housewives of New York star and former wife of Gilles Bensimon(Madonna's photographer) Kelly Bensimon are saying that she's currently dating Carlos Leon, who's the father of Madge's daughter Lourdes!

Here's what a friend of Kelly's had to say about it:

  "They started out working on a project together but have since gotten very close. Kelly always says that if you are not married or engaged, you are single. So, technically she is still single, but we all know that they are together."

And  from Kelly herself about Carlos:

"We met seven months ago. I'm casting him for the show I Can Make You Hot. Have you met him? He's an amazing dancer and athlete."

Wow. If this got serious, then Lourdes' stepmom could potentially be an ex-Real Housewife. Wow...it's a small 'Material World' after all. 

Madonna Is Taking Over 2012

Madonna has a very busy year ahead of her.  Aside from the premiere of her new film W.E., Madonna is also working on her clothing label Material Girl, her first fragrance, a new record, a tour, and she’s performing this Sunday at the Super Bowl.  And despite working so much, even those in her business circles are excited to be near her.

Dari Marder, the Chief Marketing Officer of Iconix Brand Group who developed Madge’s clothing line, reveals:

"At a photo shoot, say, I have to be professional and process what she's saying, but I can't help but think, 'Madonna's whispering in my ear, ohmygodohmygodohmygod.”

As for Madonna’s work ethic and various ventures, Marder adds:

"She's able to keep her finger on the pulse because she's very collaborative, working with people in different fields who impart a freshness to her work. I think that says a lot about her as a person."

Madonna Thinks MDMA Will Get Leaked

At least she's keeping her cool about all of this!
To recap - last month, a Madonna "super fan" was arrested for leaking a bunch of songs from her new album.
Then last week, we heard reports that Madge was on "the hunt" for an associate in her camp whom she believes was working with the "super fan."
Looks like she's still on the hunt, because during her upcoming interview with Graham Norton, Madonna says that she expects her new album to get leaked.





Here's what she had to say about it to Graham when asked about the album's release date:
  "It's soon. It depends how quickly people hack in to my server and leak it. Can people wait? It's terrible."


We'll cross our fingers that everything goes smoothly with the new album release, but even if it does get leaked, U can be sure that WE'LL still pick up a copy when it officially comes out!

More and more details about Madonna's new album are surfacing, most recently from producers William Orbit and Martin Solveig, who apparently spent time together in the studio to work with the pop icon on new tracks!

Madonna’s Publicist Commends Lady GaGa For Doing More Than Madonna

Whoa. That's saying A LOT!

But then again, she does have a point.

Liz Rosenberg has been by Madonna's side for many, many years. In a recent interview, she was asked to talk about the rise of Lady GaGa and how her career is parralleling that of Madge's. Turns out, Liz thinks that GaGaloo is doing far more in this early stage of her career than Madonna had done in the 80s. She explained:

“When Lady Gaga’s record came out and she was doing TV all over the world, I would say it’s five times more than Madonna did. If they’re not saying ‘You’re overexposed,’ then you’re not doing your job. The appetite is insatiable. It’s way more extreme than it used to be on the wardrobe part. Some divas work directly with couture designers; some have stylists who pick out their clothes. Any way you look at it, fans expect much more. They used to just expect a great record and maybe a little press. The revelation of a lot of their lives is amped up these days. Drama, though, doesn’t always equate with commercial success.”

Madonna Going On Family Trip For Her Birthday!!!

Sounds like this should be a wonderful trip!  Yesterday, Madonna was spotted with her BF Brahim Zaibat and her children Mercy, David, and Lourdes at JFK airport (above, and below).  Madge and co. were headed overseas for a family celebration in honor of her 53rd birthday!  Between this trip and her weekend in the Hamptons, it sounds like she's having a wonderful bday!

Guess Who Loves Beth Ditto As Much As We Do?!

You've all seen Beth Ditto shake her amazing stuff to Madge's Vogue. Don't deny it - you loved every second of it!

Well, turns out that her Madgesty herself has seen the video and she too loves what Beth has done! Guy Oseary, Madonna's manager, posted on his Twitter that Madge thought Beth was "great" after watching the video!

What a compliment!!! Well deserved!!! The girl just exudes confidence and power! WE LOVE IT!!!
