"I am profoundly grateful to the FBI, the Israeli Police investigators and anyone else who helped lead to the arrest of this hacker. I deeply appreciate my fans who have provided us with pertinent information and continue to do so regarding leaks of my music. Like any citizen, I have the right to privacy. This invasion into my life - creatively, professionally, and personally remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience, as it must be for all artists who are victims of this type of crime." -Madonna

Quote of the Day....

Ariana Grande

"I just love how she stands up for what she believes in and surprises people by not eff-ing up when they want her to so badly...Know what I love most about Madonna? When a bad review came out, she was the first person to say ‘f--k you.' When someone said she sounded like Minnie Mouse, she crawled into bed naked except for Minnie Mouse ears. It's such a good attitude to have. It's inspiring to me because there are times when I think I've been a weak, people-pleasing little mouse my whole life."

Anyone else think she resembles Lourdes?  I mean they could be sisters, no?

"Madonna sang a duet with Miley Cyrus on MTV's new Unplugged. It looked like 'Take Your Daughter to the Clinic Day.'"

Quote of the Day

Kanye West is renowned for endorsing few others beyond Kanye West. As such, it’s both surprising and warming to see that the Hip-Hop titan has shared his love for Pop queen Madonna in the latest issue of Interview magazine. The outspoken star not only expressed his admiration for the diva, he deemed her “the greatest visual music artist that ever lived”.

“Madonna, I think, is the greatest visual musical artist that we’ve ever had.
If you look at her photo log, the photographers that she was able to work with throughout her career framed her in the proper way.
It was the proper context.
It was that visual that made sure that everything was gonna cut through in a certain way.”

Quote of the Day

A few weeks ago, Shirley Manson gave an interview to Bullett Media and gave her point of view on how the press is trashing Madonna.

"The tabloids complain about Madonna looking old, and people laugh at her for that.
Then Madonna goes and fixes her face, and they laugh at her for that.
Even thought they begrudgingly say she looks amazing, they’ll still laugh at her for trying to look young.
Then she steps out, looking amazing, and the tabloids go and blow up a picture of her aging hand.
Nobody’s doing that to George Clooney, blowing up pictures of his hands!
I look at these magazines, and I want to say to them, What’s your point? That she’s aged? Does that surprise you? Or is your ‘point’ an attempt to undercut what she’s achieved?
I think it is, even if it’s on a subconscious level.
And you probably wouldn’t turn down those hands if they were grabbing you under the table, you fucking idiots!"

Quote of the day....

Harry Smith : Is there a point in your life where you ever get tired of being controversial?

Madonna: I don't think it's me being controversial, I think other people like to get attention and they know they can get attention for themselves by mentioning my name. I think some people are kind of stuck on my name like a needle on a record and they just have to keep calling attention to something I've done and it works.

Quote of ther Day

From a musical perspective, Jennifer Lopez has viewed Madonna as a big influence.  In an interview with NY Rock, when asked who her first biggest musical influence was, she stated:

"I think Madonna. For my era growing up, [she] was the quintessential performer, and a push-the-envelope type of person. I don't think that I'm a push-the-envelope type of person. But I think Madonna was so visionary. And in her shows, she was so expressive. So that was very inspiring for me as a young girl. I remember seeing a lot of her shows."

Quote Of The Day

"Life and love inspire me. I think reinventing yourself is vital to your survival as an artist and a human being. I know it’s cliché to say about me at this point, but it’s true. My curiosity definitely is the driving force in my life and career. When you stop learning, engaging and growing, you’re dead."

Madonna Opens Up On Her Marriage To Guy Ritchie
Back in November, Guy Ritchie opened up about his marriage to Madonna, and he had overall positive things to say about it..although he did compare married life with her to a "soap opera."
Now, Madonna has decided to speak up about being married to Guy. Here's what she had to say about it:

"Because when you start off, everything’s great and lovely, and the person you’ve married is flawless, and you’re flawless."  "Then time goes by, and you share a life, you have children, and there are cracks in the veneer. It’s not as romantic as it used to be. You think, 'this isn’t what I thought it was going to be,' and 'how much am I willing to sacrifice?'"

Thanks for sharing, Madge! We definitely agree that keeping the romance going is crucial, even after kids are born! And if that's not happening, then yeah - it's important to reassess the relationship.

Quote of the Day

In a recent interview with NY 1, Madge discussed what she has in store for the performance, and used the opportunity to throw some shade at Janet Jackson‘s way.

Referring to Ms Jackson’s 2004 wardrobe malfunction at the Superbowl, she remarks:

“I have not mainstreamed and I’m not planning anything naughty. I’m planning something super entertaining. Yep, yep! You don’t have to show nipples to be interesting. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’re cutting edge if you do, right?”

...says the woman who previously simulated masturbation onstage for entertainment.

Quote of the Day

"If you want to do anything right, you have to put your heart and soul into it. There are always challenges, and you have to be prepared to go to the wall and be on your knees to get something done correctly, so if you don't love something then it's just going to feel like a form of torture with no reward. Love your work and no sacrifice will be too big or too small. My other advice is: if you want the job done right, do it yourself. Sorry to use that tired old cliche, but it is true."
