Madonna may treat the Super Bowl to a gay old time, claims one of her dancers

1990_-_Lorraine_Day_03.jpgMadonna is “bringing gay to the Super Bowl.” That’s what we overheard one of her dancers say at the premiere party for Her Madgesty’s “W.E.” at Top of the Standard on Monday night. On the red carpet, Madonna told us she’s “extremely nervous” about the big game, but looking forward to singing her new song, “Give Me All Your Love,” and some “oldies but goodies.” She also said the best fashion advice she’s gotten from her daughter Lourdes — who was escorted into the Cinema Society and Forevermark sponsored screening by two bodyguards — was, “Mom, you’re totally ridiculous. No one is going to take you seriously as a director.” At the Le Bain after-party, Madonna shook it on the dance floor and cuddled with beau Brahim Zaibat. Bravo’s Andy Cohen and actors Julia Stiles and her very affectionate boyfriend, Dave Harbour, also attended.

Madge Crosses Her Claws For An Oscar Nom And We All Know How That Turned Out

For once, I can't really make fun of the shit that Madge wore to her premiere last night (or the shit she wore while escorting Baby Brahim to his nursery for bedtime). Bitch looks like the evil queen double fisting two tutu-wearing ballerinas. It's totally appropriate! Speaking of fisting, I also can't make fun of Madge's (DO NOT CLICK ON THAT NSFL LINK!!!) veiny testicle hands for once. I thought about it and if I was ever in the market for a silicone fist, I'd buy one modeled after Madge's hand. Four words: Veiny For Your Pleasure. I mean, John Travolta so wants to make sweet love to Madge's hand right now.

At last night's NYC premiere of the soon-to-be Razzie sweeper W.E., Madge told reporters that she was crossing her fingers and hoping that the academy would be so fearful of her wrath that they'd throw a bunch of nominations at her. Cut to this morning when she woke up in her coffin with a giant bouquet of hydrangeas on top and a note from the academy that read: Thanks, but no thanks. Okay, okay, technically W.E. was nominated for an Oscar (for Best Costume), so I guess the male members of the academy are still a little scared that Madge will crawl up into their beds at night, rip their nutsacks out with one bite and then replace the heads on the Oscar trophies with their gold-plated huevos.

Only One???

W.E. Recieves Oscar Nomination
Madonna had her 'fingers crossed' for an Oscar nomination for her directorial debut 'W.E.'.

She won a Golden Globe for Best Song for the track 'Masterpiece' from the film - would be excited to receive a nod from the Academy Awards but is not too concerned as she still has a half-time performance at the Super Bowl on February 5 to look forward to.

Well...she got ONE!  Whomp, Whomp...

Piers Morgan Yaps About Madonna Again

Piers Morgan was a guest on The View this week.   We presume he had a reason for being there besides mouthing off about Madge, but he couldn't help but take the few minutes out to do it anyway.   While talking about the best and worst dress at the Golden Globes, Piers took a dig at Madonna, calling her arms "grotesque" and comparing her to a "caveman."  Even though I agree with him....maturity and tack have never been his strong suits.

Check out the video.  Peep Whoopie's face/reaction at the 3:39 point.  That says it all...this man is annoying!  Get lost!

Check out these rare clips of a vintage Madonna performing 'Like A Virgin ' in Japan!!!   This only heightens our anticipation for her new album!! M.D.N.A. needs to come out NOW!!   But while we wait… presSsSsSs plaaAAYY!!!

ps: Luv the 4:30 mark when she breaks it down ala 'MTV Awards' in the second video!
pps:  Also love how confused M looks towards the end of the second video. HA!

Get Over

Performed by Nick Scotti, where Madonna sang prominent, almost duet-style vocals. The song was written and produced by Madonna and Shep Pettibone and released as the second single from Nick Scotti's self-titled album.

Elton's Husband Apologizes To Madonna (On Facebook)

It looks like this feud has been squashed thankfully.
Sir Elton's hubby, David Furnish, has issued an olive branch to Madonna. David posted an apology on his Facebook page to the Queen of Pop.

He writes:
"Wow! What a tempest in a teapot. My comments regarding The Golden Globes have been blown way out of proportion. My passion for our film "Gnomeo & Juliet" and belief in Elton's song really got my emotional juices going.
But I must say for the record that I do believe Madonna is a great artist, and that Elton and I wish her all the best for next week's premiere of the film "W.E."

HARD ROCK CAFE

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Here are some pictures of the car that Madonna used in her Grammy performance of 'Music' in 2001.  My buddy/coworker went to Punta Cana for our work conference and they stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel (yes, the same hotel from the reality show 'The Real Housewives of NJ').  He knows I am a big Madonna fan and took these pics for me, so I thought I would share with you.

I think this car is awesome!  There are so many details that you would have missed from the performance on tv.

Madonna Launching Campaign To Promote Super Bowl Halftime Show

Not that she needs it, but Madonna is so committed to making Super BowlXLVI's halftime show the BIGGEST halftime show ever, she's launching a campaign to promote it!
On top of recording several video promos, she's even offering her fans in France a chance to attend the game in Indianapolis and watch her perform live.
The big show is only a few weeks away! Prepare to bow down to the Queen!

Quote of the Day...

Madonna Weighs In On Adele
Last week, in a bid to generate attention for her upcoming album, ‘Frozen’ veteran Madonna aired out her thoughts on Pop rivals Janet Jackson and Lady GaGa with explosive results.

Now, in what will most certainly divide opinion as Moses did the Red Sea, the ‘MDNA’ singer has weighed in on ’21‘ maestra Adele.

According to The Mirror, Ciccone said of Ms. Adkins:

“I love Adele. I think she’s amazing and has an *incredible voice. She impresses me most out of the new artists today.”

I'll Remember...1988

"Spotlight", written by Madonna, Stephen Bray and Curtis Hudson, was originally recorded during the 1986 True Blue album recording sessions, but not included because it was too similar in composition and structure to "Holiday".  When she decided to make 'You Can Dance', she asked Shep Pettibone to remix "Spotlight" to included it on the album.  John "Jellybean" Benitez, who had recorded the original demo during the True Blue sessions, assisted Pettibone in remixing the song.  Madonna has said that she was inspired by the song "Everybody Is a Star" by Sly and the Family Stone as the theme of the song.

The song was released commercially in Japan on April 25, 1988. "Spotlight" peaked at number 68 on the Oricon weekly singles chart, remaining on the chart for five weeks.  It was also featured in the last of a series of Japanese TV commercials Madonna filmed for electronics company Mitsubishi.

Oh how I wish she would have released this as a single world wide.  It would have probably pushed the 'You Can Dance' album into the top ten and I am sure 'Spotlight' would have fared well on the charts aswell.  They could have used footage from the commercial above and incorporate scenes from the 'Who's That Girl' tour.  What do you think?

Elton John's Hubby Is STILL Talking Shiz About Madonna!

Can we PLEASE move on from this, already!

To recap - yesterday, Elton John dissed Madonna on the Golden Globes red carpet by saying that she didn't have a "f***ing chance" of winningBest Song…but as it turns out she DID win!  Then, Elton's hubby David Furnish went off on Madge on Facebook, saying the following:  "Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!! Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her critisism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is"!  Now, David has opened up further about his disdain regarding Madge's win. Here's what he had to say about it:
"I think it was a fluke…when this happens you have to question the integrity of the awards. Did Madonna get the Golden Globe because she attended the awards and agreed to be a presenter?"
"Can you sing Madonna’s song? Can you hum it? It’s a song nobody has heard, from a film few have seen. The award should have gone to Mary J. Blige or Elton. I like Madonna’s music, but not her movies. She should stick to what she is good at."
We know U and Elton are bummed about Madonna's win, but seriously - it's time to let it go. This trash talking is NOT cool AT ALL.
Who do U side with? Team Madge or Team Elton & Hubby???

Lady GaGa Producer To Madonna: “You’re An Old Lady”

LADY GAGA V MADONNA1 Lady GaGa Producer To Madonna: Youre An Old LadyAnd the claws are out!
Yes, it would seem that DJ White Shadow- responsible for much of Lady GaGa‘s work on ‘Born This Way‘- has had quite enough of being labelled a copy cat by Pop icon Madonna.
For, in response to the veteran’s claim that GaGa copied her hit song ‘Express Yourself‘ to create ‘Born‘s lead single of the same, the Chicago based beat maker has shared his uncensored thoughts on the issue.
Taking to his Twitter page, he ranted:
Someone should take there old lady meds before they are allowed to talk in public. No memories having motherf*cker.
I obviously do not hate Madonna, or belittle her talent or achievements, however, if she thinks we stole a song from her she is wrong. If you don’t like what I have to say, unfollow me, f*ck off.
Ouch!
Though there really is no denying that ‘Born This Way’ was indeed ‘inspired’ by ‘EY’, we are very glad that White Shadow decided ‘expressed himself’ in such a public way.
For, it is hilarious if not down right annoying that Ciccone has the cheek to condemn anyone for copying her, when she herself has shamelessly ‘swagger jacked’ the likes Cher, Marilyn Monroe, Cyndi Lauper, and dare we say Bananarama, at various points in her career.
Only time will tell just how this ‘drama’ will play out, and if GaGa herself will ever respond to Madonna’s claims.
