This has to be one of her worst looks, and it's so bad that it's hard to get past it when watching the movie. She's kind of spoofing Cyndi Lauper in the movie. It didn't work in 1987 and it sure hasn't aged well either.
But on the other hand, that scene at the end of the movie were she's wearing that tight dress and they go to the garden above the penthouse really worked for me, personally. She looks and acts like Madonna there, much less a human being. The movie would've worked better if she's played the part in that character, rather than playing it like Cyndi Lauper meets Betty Boop.
