This Week in Billboard Chart History: In 1991, Madonna's 'Justify My Love' Hit No. 1

MTV famously refused to air the song's racy video, but that didn't hurt its popularity. In fact, it fuelled its fire. On this date 24 years ago, "Justify My Love" became Madonna's ninth Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 (of 12 total).
